Jas,
Personally I like the brakes on my 2002 Aero but I never really knew how much I liked them until I started car pooling to work.

One night on the way home I decided it made no sense for me to drive my passenger out to his house in New Hartford, it was 10pm, only to have to get back out to pick him up for 7am. As he lives 20 minutes from me I drove to my house and gave him my keys. He was surprised at my trust but appreciated the chance to drive my 9-5 Aero.

In the morning when he pulled into the driveway I quickly jumped in the passenger seat and to his surprise elected to be chauffered in. The first comment out of his mouth was "Wow, does this car have great brakes." I agreed and reminded him that I shared this fact with him in the past but now having the chance to experience them first hand he understood what I had shared.

Two weeks later I had to get out of work early to get to the doctors office. Turns out I had Pneumonia. Well to get to the doctor I had to take his Audi S6 6 speed and boy was I looking for to the drive. The car has lightening starts as all 4 wheels propel you forward. For ha has I opted to test the brakes so I would know where they catch and how the peddle feels. YUCK!!! The car fires off like a rocket but the brakes are aqbsolutely scary after driving the 9-5 Aero. I now knew why he made such an emphatic comment on the brakes when he came to pick me up.

This said, the brake dust sucks! And finally, I want to put Dakota ABS brakes on my Caravan or Brembos but so far everyone thinks I am nuts.
