Saab should have talked to Garmin before they put a GPS in their cars.
Yes, it is a touch srceen, very hard to use while you are moving, nothing to support your hand on to make your finger hit the right spot on the screen. The SRC button on the steering wheel doesn't get you the radio page...you have to take you hand off the steering wheel and try to hit the SRC button and then try to hit the touch screen in the right spot...very poor design.
No auto zoom as you get closer to the waypoint...it is all manual.
Yes you do lose the in dash CD player...the player in the dash if for the DVD for the GPS...yes you can put a CD in and play it...but you lose the GPS...the DVD should have gone in the trunk!
A VERY POOR INTEGRATION FOR $3000. If I had to do it over again I would just buy a very nice Garmin and install it in the car. Like I have in my Passat and in my airplane and on the motorcycle!
