Best implies tradeoffs. What do you value?
The Aero provides the best performance and handling. The cost is slightly less comfortable ride, slightly less gas mileage, and higher purchase price. Maintenance will be higher - Putting the right tires on an Aero will cost more than tires for a Linear. Yes, you can put lower grade tires on an Aero, but then you wouldn't be getting the advantages. Or you could put really espensive tires on a Linear. The Aero also comes with all options, which is nice. But it will cost more. You'll probably be running 91 or 93 octane gas in the Aero to get the performance you paid for, and that's another $.20 a gallon or so.
The SE has the V6. Slight fuel mileage hit here. It comes with all the bells and whistles (usually all options), but the ride and handling are more towards the comfort side of the equation. It's not that an SE will wallow like a Buick, but it'll be a bit quieter and smoother than an Aero.
The Linear is entry level. And that is by no means bad. It has a lower power engine. Is it too low? Depends - drive it yourself, and only you can decide. Some folks find it slow, others find it pretty darn quick. The low pressure turbo engine is very nice, and will provide about or slightly better gas mileage than the Aero. A lot depends on driving style. You're more likely to be able to run a lower octane fuel, which saves money. Stock tires on a Linear will cost a little less.
The Linear came with less stuff standard, so you might not get the same bells and whistles. But it should cost less. But Linears were sold with various option packages, so you can usually find a range of options here.
If price is no object, and you value performance, buy and Aero. If price is somewhat of an option, but you want all the options and prefer a smoother ride, get an SE. If you're looking for value, find a Linear with the options you value.
