Yes I am using 100% H/K 1999 9-5 SE system head unit and all. will pull audio from rear deck speakers for high level input to self pwrd tube. this is a 100rms 10" tube I had in my 900 I am selling right now and moving the tube to my 9-5 I am getting from the wife (she got a new Odyssey). the extra bass was more than enough for the 900 system to compete with. it might be just enough for the 9-5 system. we'll see. by doing this, you can pull way back on your bass output from the H/K and free up lots of H/K power for the mid& highs. everything will crank louder. besides, for original $200 I spent on it on eBay (new) it's great.

when I finish I'll repost info on how it works/sounds. also, I am using the Bazooka volume controller for the tube. it's a must since the H/K isn't running the output of the tube volume. I adjust it all the time for different music. anyway, I found an AWESOME place for the controller. in the 900 it fit just below the ashtray in the little shelf there running the lead behind dash under carpet, etc. BUT...the 9-5 shelf is not tall enough to fit. so I was looking at having to hang under the dash...yuck. and under the seat doesnt work b/c seat moves all over the place. so.....I just happened to glance at that lousy coin tray!!!! it's perfect!! I took a dremel tool and very nicely neatly cut an opening in the cointray insert (easily removed) just large enough to hold the controller. it looks awesome and very custom professional. can I post pics on this site? I have no way of posting web pics. there is plenty of open room in there for the controll to hang down from the coin holder. it looks as if it were made perfectly for it!!!!
