if you turn the glass all the way to one side, it will expose enough gap for you to stick your fingers behind it and pull it out. It takes a tiny bit of effort, and be careful you don't yank it out fast, because you will also need to disconnect the wires to the heating element in the glass.
it is very easy to replace as well - just snaps right back in.
