Got a check engine light a few weeks ago that went out after a few days. I finally got a code reader (Auterra)and found out it was a P1334. I didn't clear the code and the engine light came back on about a week later. I cleared the stored code and as expected the engine light went out. Does the Check Engine light only come on when a new error is encountered or will it come back on if codes are stored for a period of time?
My car is running just fine, but I suspect this may be the beginning of a bad DI. 2000 9-5lpt has 70k on it w/original DI.
