Or 15W-50 premium syn. That gives you the choice of either Amsoil (20W-50) or Mobil One (15W-50). I think both are fine oils, & both will last at least 10k miles in a Saab turbo engine. Both offer better viscosity retention, better anti-wear additive packages, & better cleanliness additive packages than any xW-30 oil out there.
As Dick mentioned, you might see a slight mileage drop if you switch over to a conventional (non-syn) 20W-50. But if you're using a non-syn oil now (obviously, if you're using any 0W-xx it's a full syn), then changing to a premium (PAO/Group IV) 15W-50 or 20W-50 full syn will probably keep your mileage the same (or give you a slight benefit).
The only "logical" reason for sticking with a 0W-30 or 0W-40 oil is fuel economy. I gain more fuel savings by driving conservatively than I do by switching oils. For my money, I'd rather have the extra protection (for when I DON'T drive conservatively!) than marginal fuel savings.
