Update on lack of oil pressure light Posted by Duhey2 [Email] (#151) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Duhey2) on Mon, 2 May 2005 07:52:33 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
So I switched over to full synth from semi. As I explained earlier, before I even started the car, I turned the key to "on" and watched for the oil light....it didn't come on. I tried this a few times and it never came on. I figured it was the sending unit.
I drop it off at the dealer and today they say they can't find anything wrong with the switch so they're dropping the oil pan to check out the pick-up tube.
How would that have anything to do with the switch if the light's not even coming on when the engine's not running?
