and no less reliable than the 4 cylinder as far as anyone here has said. If I am not mistaken, the 1999 V6 came with lots of extras, ventilated seats, upgraded radio. that red and tan are a neat combination.
It will not be super reliable like any 9-5. But it is good for a European car. Look through this BB to get a feel for what can go wrong.
Regular Oil changes and regular maintenance are the key. big one coming up at 60,000. Cah you have a Saab dealer or indy look it over first?
Can't comment on price, hopefully someone will. 11,000 seems a bit high, but the mileage is pretty reasonable. And it dependson the condition.
Check out classifieds here too to get a comparison. I got my 2001 V6 from the classified here (i had a 1999 V6 and loved it but lost it in a flood); I had about 400 dollars extra maintenance after that (bent rim, oil leak from crankase sensor that took 2 trips to fix and a rattling sun roof) and I ended up buying a 1500 dollar extended warranty. Used the warranty three times since (both DIC's, catalytic converter and rusted muffler).
