The sprockets (1-2) on bank one can be interchanged with each other if they are removed from cam shafts and so can bank two's sprockets (3-4) too.
But it is of importance to use the right setting of sprocket depending on which cam shaft it is installed on. The same goes for when setting the timing before timing belt is routed.
You have to use number 1 setting for the sprocket closest to firewall and so forth.
