Had to replace the battery on my '00 9-5 tonite. NOticed that the OEM battery had a vent hose, and the replacement from Sears had one as well but also came with a kit to connect it to a vent/drain tube elsewhere in the car. Couldn't find anything near the battery housing, nor was the OEM battery connected in any such way. Is there supposed to be a connection, and if not, does it matter where the tube vents to? Thanks!
