Have they removed the pressure pipe from turbo and inspected for oil residue or is the turbo deemed "ok" just because it has been rebuilt?
It could still be a chance that the turbo is pasing oil on the intake side.
I haven't heard of any PCV problems on the V6 engine but you could have the shop remove the PCV box from engine block and clean it out carefully and check all the hoses to it so that they are not clogged up.
It is a plastic check valve in the PCV system that break quite often. It sits up by the throttle body and is the same PCV check valve that the 4 cyl turbo engines use in the thin vaccum hose from valve cover to throttle body.
