Thanks Mike. The one I've borrowed doesn't have Nav, vented seats, cd changer or park assist :-( I think I would like to get those options if I buy a new(er) one although I may skip NAV and get a handheld GPS.
Take off is a bit slow for the first second or two but builds quickly as the turbo winds up. This may not be a bad thing as it allows for some inertia to build with a slow beginning roll and may help keep the front end from slipping. Today I'll be spending some time today on the highway with it.
I've noticed a plastic bulge on the left side of the passenger front foot well that I don't have in my 2000. What is this? It also seems that the brake and accelerator is a bit closer together - my foot seems to catch both pedals more easily than my 2000.
The car is quite nice but I'm in a bit of a conundrum as to whether a 2005 lease makes more sense with the employee discounted pricing or a certified used (2002 - 2003)and let someone else eat the infamous early years depreciation. Any thoughts?
