I had a similar problem with my 9-5 and it turnd out to be the expansion valve. In my case the valve (which is located on the firewall, just follow the AC lines to it) was stuck closed. I just tapped it a few times with a long screwdriver and it started working and it has work ever since. Hope this helps.
