S,
I plan on stopping by a local Saab dealer today to have key programmed/cut, ask about euro mode for lights (for the reasons you mentioned) and locks (once push to open all four doors)

I noticed - and someone also mentioned - that the fogs are aimed 6-8 feet ahead of car, you can tell because the beam thickens and terminates. On my old Subaru I had beams from a set of HELLA 550's running parallel to the ground and that worked wonders. I don't know how the aiming process will work, I didn't have a look yet.

My "contact" operates out of a fully bonded and insured PA car dealer who buys improrts "wholesale". These are off lease vehicles, however I was told that they do not buy their cars at Manheim and other auctions. It is my understanding that they purchase them one level below that [Manheim] which is considered by most to be ground level for the car trade.
What doesn't sell well on eBay gets ported to Manheim for liquidation, for a smaller profit I imagine.

I've had the car for three days, so far so good. :) Vehicle was in immaculate condition (fully detailed from pro shop etc..) except for pitting and chipping on bumper/hood/windshield from stones; this was however disclosed at auction.

Someone else who wrote me is doing business with the same eBay seller, perhaps he might want to chime in to share his experience. Drop me a line if anything I can tell my guy what you are looking for and if he can/wants to find something.
Best,
Tom
