When my car wouldnt start I brought it to a Saab dealership in framingham, MA. AFter days of trying to figure out waht was wrong I got alot more than i expected. I was informed that the following need to be fixed...
the pcu update which costs 100 dollars need to be fixed for 175 including labor
the turbo which costs 1000 need to be fixed for 1600
those aren't even the MAJOR problems, those apparently can be fixed at a later time but will need to get fixed, the following are necessary fixes and not optional
the MAF sensor part number 9173386 which costs 154 dollars neess to be fixed for 340
the crank sensor part number 30561772 which costs 50 dollars can be fixed for 230
the 120k service can be done for 725
seup (Sp?) belt part 4356127 which costs 50 dollars and the idler pulley part number 5590344 which costs 47 dollars need to be fixed for a total of 300 dollars includig labor
the rear muffler part number 4966925 which costs 340 and the flex pipe part number 4750741 which costs 200 need to be fixed for a total of 718 with labor
and the battery which costs 124 can be fixed for 145
If you know of anyone that will do this for a better price living near framingham MA please let me know. Or if you have ever had these parts fixed PLEASE let me know how much it cost. I'm not mechanically inclined so I could be getting ripped off. Please comment if you have any suggestions at all, I could really use some advice
