I drove many cars prior to purchasing my 5sp aero (04). The TL made the short list and I looked back for a while wondering if I made the best choice. I can say this: the longer I live the aero, the more incredible driving experience it delivers. Not so many bells and whistles, but it is fast, stable, and pure pleasure. BTW, as an aside, the posts concerning the DI are (I think) overblown. I lost one in my 9000 over about ten years and looking through the board it seems if you keep the car well tuned and run decent fuel its not a big deal. One last thing - I get low 20's in town and 31+ hwy -can the TL match that?
