Thanks for the response. The dealer changed their mind about price after I told them about another qoute. The total charge was now $250. Strange. Well the following week the engine light came on again and the dealer told me I needed a catalytic convertor. After much complaining and calls to Saab they agreed to do it for $300 (amazingly I was once again just outside my warrenty period.) of 80,000 miles. (Maybe with a new engine at 55,000 I was still in my warranty?) Anyway they also said they would send me a check for the labor on the O2. We will see. I was not suprised when 2 weeks later my car hesitated going 60 miles an hour and I was concerned it would stall. The engine light came on again and after 3 days I am waiting for the dealers dreaded call. Weirder still is that the first time (of July) when I first brought my car in, the Saab 9-3 loaner with 30,000 miles did the same thing and had to be towed in. Of course now they will say I need a new turbo and should give them a couple of grand.
