It happened mostly when going up hill from a stop, it also had difficulty shifting from 3rd to 4th. They rebuilt the tranny under warranty to fix the shifting problem, but forgot to fix the squeak. I took it back and they replaced the clutch, turned out to be the dampening springs were loose in the clutch disc, they replaced the whole assembly as at the time I ony had 16K on the car. It will likely be more annoying than harmful. But since mine was under warranty, I had it fixed.
