How many miles on the car? If you've gone to the short belt setup there will be more vibration and noise at idle, especially when turning with the A/C compressor running.

I had the tensioner changed on my 2.3 engine at 60K because the tensioner was moving more than normal. There was no other noise at the time but the new tensioner and pulley don't move as much. Having had two failures on two 9000s with the 2.3 engine I didn't want to go through that again... Unfortunately the tensioner and pulley setup has been a weak link on the 2.3 engine for more than fifteen years and it continues to be one on the 9-5s. Something we just need to deal with...
