The previous post has things backward. The Aero has a larger turbo than the LPT, so it is capable of providing higher boost pressure an therefore higher torque and HP. Because the Aero turbo is larger, it takes a bit longer to spool up. There are some other differences between the Aero and LPT engines also. The LPT should deliver a little better fuel economy.
