Tire Replacement -- Thoughts?

On the five Saabs we've owned (99LE, 9000, 9-3 and 9-5) our 2001 2.3 Sportwagon is the only one that has been tough on tires. We've put 30K on Yokahama Avid V-4s and they have all worn badly (with rotation every 5K) and are now very noisy. I'm ready to put four all season tires on and have gotten down to either the Avon M 550 A/S or the Bridgestone Potenza G009. The Avon is a W rated tire and the Bridgestone an H rated tire. The advantage of the Avon is that the tires can be cross rotated so that should limit the uneven wear on the inside edge of the rear tires. But the Bridgestone has a more agressive tread that should be a better all-season tire. And, the Avons are not available locally (Tire Rack). The pricing of the tires is about even with the current Bridgestone sale.
Anyone have any experience with these tires on a 9-5? Will going from a V-rated tire (Yokohama Avid) to an H-rated tire matter for average driving?
And, has anyone solved the problem of the inside edge of the rear tires wearing unevenly?
