Guys,
Here is what I have:
One almost brand spankin new Basslink in immaculate condition with no wires of any kind; just the instructions.

I stopped by a local installer who took a look at the ting, took a few nervous puffs, and broke it down for me. Keep in mind I am not very well versed in auto audio...

The Basslink is a four channel sub/amp he would have to run RCA inputs from all the doors. Expensive and time consuming: $150

I told him that I know a few people who have hooked up their Basslink by splicing in to the rear speaker wire. He said that he can do that for me but I will only have one woofer working - the powered 10" and the radiator will not work. He would also need to install a hi/low adapter.

Is this what you guys are doing? I know you are splicing into the rear and drawing power from the battery. Are you only using one woofer?
I wanted to put it flush along the driver side trunk wall, vis a vis, the cargo net, if I go that route and have both woofers working will it be a problem because of the woofer being so close to the side wall?

I need to know If it's enough to splice into the rears, which is what every one here has done, or do I need signal from all four speakers.

And oh yeah, where will they run the power from the battery? I've looked at my door sill trim and it looks solid fit wise, maybe through the center console? How is yours wired?

Thanks, I want to get the basslink installed, but I don't want to pay too much for installation.
Tom
