Did you use the same bed-in procedure for the first set of rotors? Using that bed-in procedure is key. I really doubt the Brembo rotors were at fault. In fact, what a lot people describe as "warped rotors" is actually an uneven build-up of pad compound. The way to prevent this is to properly bed your pads - just like you described: Warm up the pads at 35mph. Then brake HARD from 60-10mph about 6-8 times in a row. Then try to avoid using your brakes as they cool. And avoid using the parking brake with hot pads and rotors.
