I like to rotate my tires at no more than every 3K miles. I do it myself. I also have a set of Winter Wheels. I have my own air compressor and torque wrench. It's also a good time to inspect the brakes and re-position any brake rotor back plates. I regularly take long trips with a good load in the wagon. This is a good time to increase the air pressure in the tires. Saab recommends (for my 2000 9-5 Wagon, 17-inch wheels) up to 43 PSI under a load. They recommend 32 PSI for 1-3 person load. You should be able to get this info. from your quick-reference guide and the decal on the pillar near your driver's seat (door open).

I had a bit of cupping on my first Saab after about 4,000 on a set of tires. This was before I started to treat my Saabs as a family member. LOL
