I have the ComforTred tires and if given the option to buy again, I wouldn't.
I got these tires last fall as a gift from my dad. He apparently got a good deal from "a guy he knows" down at the Goodyear store... I didn't have the option to refuse.
Anyway, the tires yield a very smooth ride- miles better than the Mich MXV4s that were on the car originally.
These tires ride over rough roads, bumps and unexpected pot-holes very smoothly without jaring the whole car. They have good traction in snow and wet/water logged roads but the problem with the tires is the soft sidewall. The softness that makes for a smooth ride makes for poor handling.
There is an option though: Goodyear makes an Assurance TripleTred tire that has the same protection, treadlife warranty and smoothness of the ComforTred but has stiffer sidewalls for improved handling.
When I got my ComforTreds the TripleTred wasn't yet available in the correct size for the 9-5. I think they are now though.
