I have Pilot Sport A/S on my '00 base lpt wagon. Fine grippy tire w/ excellent hydro performance, but not the one to buy if you're looking for long wear. I have 22k on them, and they're definitely in the last trimester of useful life. Expensive as hell, too. Not sure if I'd buy again; a friend has Bridgestone Turanza LS-H tires on his 9-5 sedan and they seem like a good balance of comfort, tread life and handling (grand touring like MXV4?) Much more reasonable cost, too. Don't seem to get as noisy as Michelins as they wear.
I know many love to bitch about MXV4s, but I've always had good luck with them on my Saab and Honda. I will admit that I don't push my ride as many seem to do, though, and my expectations of a tire reflect this lesser demand accordingly.
