I am driving an old ('91) 9000...when repaired....for pleasure and a Mazda3 hatch for trouble free everday driving. I have been lately tempted to sell both and buy another 9-5 (had the same experiences with my '99 9-5)...but have decided to stay in a dak room until the temptation goes away!
The mazda is a blast with xenons, heated seats, rain sensing wipers, and a bose stereo...way better than saab's..25-30 mpg, and a Hatch! It drives a lot like a c900..very quick and tight...but still is not a Saab!
The 9000 is a REAL SAAB Beast...but is constantly needing something else...it's like a drug I can't live without.
It kills me to be buying/driving non-Saab...I simply can't afford the luxury of living at the Saab dealer anymore. The guys at the dealership are great...but there is more to life than driving/repairing a saab.
