You have to expect maintenance issues with ANY older car, and everything you mentioned is maintenance related. (Not enough info regarding the broken axle, that does not usually just "happen".) Turbos, brakes, tires, etc. wear out on any car. And the accident has nothing to do with maintenance, but hopefully no one was hurt because you were in a very safe car. Saabs are in the same category with other European cars, they can be a bit more expensive to maintain than the typical Japanese cars. Perhaps you should have considered that before you bought a luxury European car. No one can tell you whether you should keep it or not, but consider the type of maintenance repairs you have done and the money you have already put into it. If you buy another older car it could very well need brakes and tires too. A well maintained car will be more reliable in the long run.
Good Luck,
AeroLady
