Thanks for the suggestion. But to buy my car will cost about $24K with tax or $26K with a warrantee. For another $15K I can get a new Acura or Infiniti with many more amenities, a long warrantee and equal or better reliability, and a 3 year newer car.

My dealer suggested I try to negotiate with Saab leasing. So I called and the person I spoke with said there is no negotiation. She said Saab leasing is an outsourced company and she could care less whether I stuck with Saab or not. So I asked to speak with her supervisor and she said she IS the supervisor. It's funny how after more than 20 years of brand loyalty a single call like this can poison a relationship.
