New boost gauge installed... pressure questions...

I just finished my Autometer boost/vac gauge install and took it for a test drive. Everything seems cool except the max pressure I could get was about 15psi. I have a 2000 Aero and I've read that I should be producing more like 20psi. I do have almost 80k miles, so does this seem right? Seems like 5psi is kind of a lot to be lacking. Obviously more pressure is more better. Any thoughts? Thanks and take care.
