Cleaning the throttle body bore and adding Techron to the tank a couple of times to try with.
A gummed up throttle bore/butterfly can create drag that the computer try to overcome.
We have heard and seen cases where the engine valves and combustion chamber is carbon up and needs to be decarbonized. Those carbon deposits soak up the gasolin and can create strange problems at start up.
Check all PCV/vacuum hoses for rotting and leaks.
