Different Color Xenons

Okay, I know I posted a similar thread earlier, but I have an update and a new question.
So the dealer swapped my right-front xenon housing for one that they had on the lot as a kind of stop-gap fix because they didn't have a lot of time to spend on the car. To their credit, they told me if it didn't work, just bring it back but that they were almost 100% sure that would fix the problem. It didn't fix the problem.
The right-front xenon emits a light purpleish light, while the left-front xenon emits a noticeably more white or light-blue light. What color should the xenons be? Blue to white, or purple? I've read in the WIS that there is something that can cut power to the xenons, thereby lowering the amount of light they emit. Could this be the problem or could there be another electrical problem with the car as the xenons both seem to cut in and out sometimes while parked with the engine running or flicker at parking lot speeds or while parked with the engine running. But from what I've read here, the flickering is common, but I've heard a lot less about the cutting in and out.
Okay, long enough post once again.
Any advice/help/thoughts/opinions/experiences are very much appreciated!
