The Mazda is a great car, and I do love driving it. I miss driving a Saab everyday more...there are a few practical matters...
1) the Mazda back seat is too small to easily include my 1 year old (Zac is my Grandson, but I have custody)
2) My 9kT is a 5 spd...only way I'd want it...and at this point (60 Tuesday) I need an auto. Not to mention that I can't seem to stay ahead of Traaveler and his "needs". He is better suited to a DIYer.
3)I only have garage space for 1 car of mine+ the wife's. When I started this "old Saab" adventure I had 3 spaces. It's easier to go back to 1...and if one then it must be a Saab??
4) Mike Lynch got to me when he has said repeatedly that the 9-5 may be the last "classic" Saab...maybe a mis-quote, but close. At least when the 9-5 was developed, Saab had a full compliment of Swedish engineers...probably never again. The next 9-5 with the Chevy dash really got to me.
make sense???? I'm still not sure, haven't bought the 9-5 yet.
