PBR ceramics- two thumbs down :(

Nice and sweet for those who are doing research via the search function.
Item reviewed: PBR ceramic pads for rear rotors.
Pros:
+STOPPING POWER- These things mean business! I have new rubber and this land rocket stops on a dime and gives you nine cents change! If you stomp on that pedal you better have your seatbelts on they bite and don't let go! Will bring you to a grinding (they emit a growl/grinding sound right before full stop) halt from any speed. I noticed significant improvement in deacceleration from highway speeds to a stop with these on the rear from the worn stock pads I had back there.
Cons:
- DUST- and lots of it! These things leave my rears *BLACK* after two days of driving. I bought ceramics for their dust free properties, boy was I wrong! I have OEM on the front wheels and these are twice as bad two days after washing.
- AGRESSIVE- I fear these are eating the rotors for breakfast, lunch..and dinner. I bought new rotors 5K miles ago and I have noticed significant scoring.
- NOISY- Vibrato like shim specific squeals. I'm not impressed. I believe the place that put them on did a half assed job, did not torque wheels to spec.
For the fronts you absolutely HAVE to go with the Akebono ceramic pads, do not try to save $20 and go with the Satisfied Pro's.
Best,
Tom
