I've noticed two things about the paddles on my Aero.
One - if you activate night panel and are enjoying some spirited night driving and decide to go into manual mode to shift with the paddles the gear indicator light with the corresponding gears lights up *BUT* the tachometer does not. You cant always hear the engine with the radio going, I'd rather be able to check RPM's before the buckling from a downshift.
Two- I'll have to check this but I'm pretty sure that I can't switch into third gear from a standstill. The computer limits me to first or second, once I get going I can't go too high or too low on the gears, they become available with the proper speed on my spedometer. I have an 03 with winter mode but I'll see if I can paddle to third from a standstill.
