Almost as notorious as the DIC/IDM. Did you notice a burnt plastic smell under the hood when the car failed to start? This smell is a tell-tale sign for the DIC/IDM failure. Or, you can remove the unit and sniff it for signs of fried electronics.
The CPS is almost as easy to change, and much cheaper.
