I have, along with several others who post here, installed a Parrot blue tooth kit in my car, and functionally,I would suspect that the Motorola unit is very similar. Having great results with the Parrot system, evaluated the Motorola prior to buying, but ultimately went with Parrot due to distribution and reputation in the OEM market. I am sure the Motorola kit will work fine. Very opiniated on the subject of do it yourself compared to pro install.I only go pro on things like this, not just because I do not have the time to f--k around with taking my car apart, but also because in the long run, it costs less. Pros do this 8 hours a day, and instinctively know how to take interior parts off and put them back together correctly the first time. My kit took about 2 labor hours, or $120 to get the job done right, the first time, and with no rework. Just my personal preference, but if you search through this board on the results of DIY work like this, usually you will find that it kinda sorta worked right the first time, then after a second trip to the store, it finally was all done. Time is money,so I try to spend it wisely. This is my third hands free install in 2 different 9-5's current car had hard wire HF prior to getting the blue tooth. Last one had hard wire version. I'm sure you will like this feature,so good luck on your choice.
