I would consider that the tire wear and tread noise is a Saab suspension issue except for the fact the my OE Pirelli tires were quiet and wore evenly till the end of their tread which occured after only 16K. That is the reason I wont go back to them. I need more than 16K out of a tire and I went with the Avon tires based on the excellent reviews they got on Tire Rack. The only complaint I have with them is the extreme noise they currently make.
