I live at high altitude ad haven't noticed anything like that. As added info: I have made several round-trips west and east (to sea level) and have never experienced that effect. There may be a slight difference if I were to get to about 1000 ft with some of my 6000 ft fuel (formulated for altitude), but nothing like 20.4 mpg. LOL
