My '05 Aero (almost a year old, ~5K miles) is getting its water pump replaced today. Started as a small puddle in the drive way and a "low coolant" message on the SID. Given the low age and mileage, I figured it was just a loose hose or something. Unfortunately, no.

Dealer says this is not the 1st they've seen (nor is it the 1st seen on the board). He said sometimes it's the pump, other times it's just the seals. He's replacing everything. Looks like a trend.

That being said, I must compliment the dealer so far... Showed up without an appointment, they gave me a real Saab as a loaner without me asking (while another in the waiting room was getting an Enterprise rental). Offerred to replace the pump (vs. just the seals) without me asking. As long as they fix it right the first time (and get it done today as promised), they score a 10 out of 10.
