Open your trunk, pull out your spare tire, jack, tools....etc., and check to see if your floor pan back there is buckled. Also, look at the supports for your rear bumper from under the car. Could have cracks in the welds....etc. I was hit at 35-40mph and sustained close to $5k in damage to my 9-5....oh...from a Honda Civic. Her insurance company, Allstate, initially said $1400 in repairs. The shop fixed it for exactly....$1400. When I went to pick up the car, I took a close look at everything and the buckle in the floor pan and the welds were plain as day. I wrote down everything on a piece of paper, made the shop owner and manager sign it because I had to take the car for a trip. Sent Allstate a copy and went to another bodyshop who fixed everything perfectly.
