Was the squeaking noise in ralationship to the engine RPM? Or was it from the suspension? If I had to guess from your description, the squeak may be the accessory blet which also drives the power-steering pump. Turning the wheel puts extra load on the power-steering pump and the accessory belt. Maybe that's it? The accessory drives are on the right-side. If it is the belt, it could be glazed a bit. I also searched this forum and found the following: As far as resetting your SID Push "clear" and release. Push again and hold in. About 20 seconds, the SID will say "clear", but keep on holding the button down. When it says "service" you should be good for 5000 miles. BTW, since your vehicle has the V-6, you must get the cam belt replaced at 60,000 miles. The Saab Dealer pays for the belt and labor BUT - you should have the idlers and tensioner replaced. Some also recommend replacing the water pump while it's apart. So your free belt turns into about a $550! The engine is a 24 valve, 4-cam, V-6 and is termed as an "interference engine". That means when the cams get out of syncronization with the crankshaft, the valves crash into the pistons. So the $550 is worth saving a $6000-8000 engine.
