Just got in from replacing my front brake rotors and pads. They were much more difficult than the brakes on our 2005 Chrysler Town and Country. We had to make a special trip down to Ace hardware to buy an 18mm socket, but otherwise we have everything we needed. The outer pads still had some pad left but the inner pads were GONE. You could see the rivets, which were making that terrible grinding sound. After trying to hang the calipers by a cut up coat-hanger, we found that it was much easier to just get a plastic milk crate and rest it on that. We also learned that you have to assemble everything and bolt the caliper to the axle before you put the little spring from you know where back onto the outer pad. It took about 2 hours to do the first side and then 30 minutes to do the other once we knew what to do. Thanks for all of your help though.
