caliper is held on by 2 bolts; bolts are covered with rubber seals that have plastic caps on the end. Remove the caps and use a torx bit(I think it's a 17mm) to remove them. If you are only changes pads it is sufficient to remove caliper only.
Now, if you are changing the rotor, instead of removing only the caliper you must take off the whole caliper and caliper bracket assembly. This can be done by removing only the 2 bolts holding the caliper bracket to the hub. After removing these the bracket and caliper(still attached) will come off. The rotor CANNOT be removed by only removing the caliper. None of the online guides stated this specifically, so I found out once I got the thing apart. These two bolts are exposed, and you will need an E20(I'm sure about this one, as I didn't have it) female torx socket to remove them. They are on there very tight, not to mention the loctite on the threads that was done at the factory. I remove 3 out of 4, and rounded off the last bolt. I had to use a 2 foot galvanized pipe for leverage on the wrench to remove the others; like I said they are on tight. After getting these loose and the bracket/caliper assembly off, the job should be cake. A single hex set screw holds the rotor in place. Remove that and you are golden to remove the rotor.
