I thought presence of oil in the intake plumbing was a bad thing but on my V-6 9-5, I have the same thing. The Dealer replaced the turbocharger assembly and removed the intercooler and cleaned it out. I checked the intake plumbing a couple of weeks later and more oil in there. SAAB says "some leakage is normal". What I've read on the Internet is turbo leakage on the compressor side is often caused by poor turbo drainage back into the oil pan. That can be caused by crud in the drain line or excessive crankcase pressures caused by a defective PCV check valve. Under boost, since the intake is running at a positive pressure, with a bad check-valve, it pressurizes the internals of the engine causing the turbo to not drain quickly enough back to the pan. With all that said, if there is no blue smoke puffs when starting out, you are probably fine. Do you have a 2.3 I-4 or the V-6? How many miles?
