Some tips for DIY front brakes 2002+ 9-5

I just did the brakes on my wife's 9-5 Aero. Took about 4 hours for all four wheels.
You'll need an E20 torx socket to get the calipers off. You'll also need lots of grunt power. These things were very tight all the way off. One could try using a 12 pt socket but they're so tight and need so much force that my bet is that the bolts will strip.
I could not get an E20 torx socket so I got a torx wrench from Sears. $47 for the pack of wrenches. Well... at least I have them now. They're pretty nice.
The fronts are relatively easy except for the forces necessary. I'm in pretty good shape but feel like I got a good workout. Remember to push the caliper back as far as you can before removing the old pads.
Also remember that the front rotors may be rusted on. One of mine was. I used some WD-40 behind it but also used one of the wheel bolts in each of the holes in a circle just to loosen the thing. The hammer was not getting the old rotor off.
The rear brakes were especially easy. I just did the pads. About 20 minutes a side including cleaning and applying some anti-sieze for the parts of the pads that slide in the caliper.
