We used the dryer sheets (fabric softener?) by Bounce I think, when we stored our Honda S2000 this last winter, put a bunch all over: engine, interior, etc. Worked like a charm, and we got this tip from people who stored boats and RV's - always works for them, and smells a lot nicer also!
If you are worried about the tires, jack it up onto jack stands at all 4 lift points on the car. This keeps the tires off the ground and they are cheap at a auto store.
