Seasonal check engine light

I have a Y2000 Aero wagon and the Check engine light seems to come on about once a week when the ouside temperatures are above 50F. When the light comes on, the car is usually idling and I do not see any misfire or change in performance. Dealer has looked for stored fault codes and nothing. Could this be a bad sensor???? I'm lost with this one, but the air temp might be a clue. Any ideas would be welcome.
Thanks, Nigel Nr. Boston
