The last time I had my car up, I jacked it up from the front end, right by the rubber plug that pulls out to expose the spot where you screw in the towing eye. There is a big circular area on the subframe. Once I had the car up, I put jack stands under the front pinch rails that are located just behind the front wheels. The side skirts on my aero have a cut out around these rails.
